Aphidoletes aphidymyza – Gall Midge

How It Works: Adult Aphidoletes aphidymyza emerge from the pupae and deposit their eggs in the aphid colonies. After emerging from the eggs, the larvae consume the aphids.

Target Pests: Controls all stages of aphids.

Best Use: In aphid hotspots.

Shelf Life: within 1-2 days of receipt.

Important Information for Use:

Activation Time: This product begins feeding on aphids 14-21 days after introduction.
Not for Prevention: It should not be used as a preventative measure against aphids. A sufficient aphid population is required for reproduction.
Environmental Conditions: Requires humidity levels above 70% for optimal performance.
Activity Cycle: Gall midges are active at night.
Chemical Sensitivity: This product is highly sensitive to chemical treatments. Use Koppert One to check compatibility before use.

To prevent or eradicate a pest infestation, most of our biological pest control products need to be placed out either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Please contact us if you require more information.

Storage

In the dark at 10-15C for 1-2 days after receipt only if needed.

Shipping Information

Most of our products contain living organisms; therefore, we must follow specific procedures to guarantee their safe transportation from our door to yours.

All orders received before Wednesday (3:00 pm EST) will ship the following week. We guarantee the product will arrive before end of day Saturday.

If there is a holiday the ship day will be delayed one (1) business day.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or holidays.

We cannot deliver to PO boxes.
