Aphidius colemani – Parasitic Wasp

How It Works: Adult Aphidius colemani emerge from aphid mummies and begin laying eggs inside live aphids. As the next generation of parasitic wasps develops, the aphid transforms into a leathery mummy. The adult wasp later emerges through a small hole at the rear of the mummy.

Target Pests: Controls the cotton aphid (Aphis gossypii), tobacco aphid (Myzus persicae var. nicotianae), and peach-potato aphid (Myzus persicae var. persicae).

Best Use: When wanting to prevent or control the above aphids.

Shelf Life: within 1-2 days of receipt.

Important Information for Use:

Immediate Action: This product starts working as soon as it is introduced to the plants. However, visible results, such as aphids turning into mummies, will become noticeable after 14-21 days.

To prevent or eradicate a pest infestation, most of our biological pest control products need to be placed out either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Please contact us if you require more information.

Storage

In the dark at 8-10C for 1-2 days after receipt only if needed.

Shipping Information

Most of our products contain living organisms; therefore, we must follow specific procedures to guarantee their safe transportation from our door to yours.

All orders received before Wednesday (3:00 pm EST) will ship the following week. We guarantee the product will arrive before end of day Saturday.

If there is a holiday the ship day will be delayed one (1) business day.

Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or holidays.

We cannot deliver to PO boxes.
