All orders received before Wednesday, 3pm (EST) will ship the following week. We guarantee all deliveries will arrive before end of day Saturday. Please note we do not ship to P.O. boxes.
If there is a holiday the ship day will be delayed one (1) business day.
Orders are only shipped once a week and we do not ship on weekends.

As of April 1st, 2023, if you are placing an order with Koppert Canada Ltd to receive any biological insects, we will now require a copy of your Wildlife Permit.
According to the wildlife regulations in Newfoundland and Labrador a copy of your “Possession & Import of Live Wildlife Permit” will be required for the purchase of arthropods (beneficial insects).

Most of our products contain living organisms; therefore, we must follow specific procedures to guarantee their safe transportation from our door to yours. All orders received before Wednesday (3:00 pm EST) will ship the following week. We guarantee the product will arrive before end of day Saturday. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

For orders under $200 CAD a courier fee (flat rate) of $25 CAD will be applied.

Yes, we ship all year. The beneficial insects will arrive slower than summer shipping due to the colder temperatures outdoors. This does not harm the beneficials whatsoever, as long as they are not left outside in below freezing temperatures for longer than 48 hrs.
When the product arrives bring them in as soon as possible. Allow the product to warm up for 2 hrs before placing on your plants.
Most of our live products, except sachets are shipped in an Eco-friendly shipping box with high quality ice packs to preserve their viability.
Non-live products (e.g. traps) may be shipped in cardboard boxes or mailing envelopes.
Beneficial insects have a very short life expectancy, so they need to be introduced onto the plants as soon as possible after they arrive. Storing your products for any length of time past the expiration date or under conditions different from those listed on the package will have a negative effect on quality and function. Koppert Canada is not liable for any loss of efficacy if the product is stored for longer than recommended and/or under incorrect conditions.
No. There are strict international restrictions on the trade and shipment of insects and other organisms. Therefore, we can only sell and ship our products within Canada.

When opting for Local delivery (if available in your area), orders received by Wednesday at 3 PM (EST) will be scheduled for delivery the following Tuesday between 4 PM and 10 PM.

No, to prevent or eradicate a pest infestation, most of our biological pest control products need to be placed out either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Please contact us if you require more information.
Almost all of our products should be applied within 1-2 days after receipt. The only products that can be stored are our nematodes (Larvanem, Capsanem, Entonem - use before the best before date on the package) and our Plant Growth Promotion & Crop Resilience products.
Yes, biological control products are safe to use in the home. There is only one precaution when using our products and that pertains to allergies. We therefore advise you to take the necessary precautions.
Yes, biological control agents are safe to use around pets.
Generalist predatory mites will intra-guild predate and should not be used on the same crop at the same time. These generalist predatoy mites include Swirski, Thripex, Anso-Mite, and Limonica.
Spical, Spidex and Entomite-M can all be used together with ONE of the above generalist foliage dwelling-predatory mites.
