Amblyseius swirskii & Neoseiulus californicus – Predatory Mites

How It Works: Amblyseius swirskii & Neoseiulus californicus hunts and feeds on pests by piercing them with their mouthparts and extracting the pests internal fluids. The breeder sachets will release predatory mites over a 4-5 week period.

Target Pests: 

• Controls eggs and larvae of whiteflies
• Feeds on the larvae of Western Flower Thrips, Onion Thrips, and other thrips species.
  
• Controls all stages of the Two-Spotted Spider Mites (Tetranychus urticae).
• Controls all stages of pest mites like Broad Mite (Polyphagotarsonemus latus), Cyclamen Mite (Phytonemus pallidus), Hemp Russet Mite (Aculops cannabicola), False Spider Mites, and European Red Mite.

Best Use: as a preventative or light curative against the above pests when relative humidity is below 75% or above 95% (grow rooms/households). Also ideal for outdoor use or overhead watering conditions.

Shelf Life: within 1-2 days of receipt.

Important Information For Use:

• Do not open sachets upon arrival. They already have a pin-sized hole for predatory mites to exit naturally.
• Both sachets can be used on the same plant.
• For heavy Two-Spotted Spider Mite infestations, use Spidex instead, as Spical avoids heavy webbing. Spical is best suited for prevention or light curative control with this pest when there is no webbing present.
• Do not use Swirski, Thripex, Anso-mite, and Limonica on the same plants at the same time. These are generalist predatory mites, and if applied together, they may attack and eat each other instead of targeting pests. Always choose one type of generalist predatory mite per application.
• Predatory mites are very small—typically 0.3 to 0.6 mm in size. This means they are difficult to spot with the naked eye.
