Stratiolaelaps scimitus (Hypoaspis miles) – Predatory Mite
How It Works: Stratiolaelaps scimitus hunts and feeds on soil pests by piercing them with its mouthparts and extracting their internal fluids. The reduction of the infestation level occurs at a slow but steady rate.
Target Pests:
- Controls eggs and larvae of Fungus Gnats (Sciarid Flies)
- Controls pupae of the Western Flower Thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis) and Onion Thrips (Thrips tabaci)
Best Use:
- Suitable for preventative and curative control for the listed pests.
- Use alongside yellow Horiver cards to trap adult Fungus Gnats (Sciarid Flies), Western Flower Thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis), and Onion Thrips (Thrips tabaci).
- For thrips control, combine this product with Thripor and a thrips predatory mite like Swirski for the best results.
Shelf Life: within 1-2 days of receipt.
