Pheromones ONLY - MUST BE USED in conjunction with the Deltatrap. 

Description: Comes with 4 pheromones that attract male Planococcus citri (Citrus Mealybugs). 

How It Works: Dispensers release a species-specific sex pheromone, which lures the males of Citrus Mealybugs into the trap. Once in the trap, they cannot escape and are easy to detect, count, and identify, reducing their ability to mate with females. As a result, fewer eggs are laid, helping to control the population and minimize infestations.

Target Pests: This product targets male Citrus Mealybugs. 

Best Use: to prevent or control mating of the above pest. 

Shelf life: 2 years after the production date when stored in a freezer (-18°C), and 1 year when stored in a refrigerator (4-6°C).

Step 1: Arrival 

Short term: store in a refrigerator (4-6°C) for up to one year after purchase. Long term: store in the freezer (-18°C) for up to two years after purchase.

Step 2: Placement 

Must be used with a Deltatrap. Use one pheromone per trap as shown in the video below. Do not open the plastic container. Do not touch the pheromone dispensers with your bare hands, since manual contact can spread the pheromones to other areas. Wear gloves. It will look like the dispensers are empty, but trust us, the pheromones are in there.

Step 3: Repeat Applications

Replace the pheromone capsules every eight weeks when pests are active.
