Description: comes with 4 pheromones to be used in the Buxatrap for monitoring and trapping male box tree moths.
Best Used: from May/June until the end of November (dependent on geographic location) and in conjunction with the box tree moth trap (Buxatrap) and Capsanem.
Works By: dispensers releasing a species-specific sex pheromone, which lures the males of box tree moths into the trap. Once in the trap, they cannot escape and are easy to detect, count and identify. Trapping males also aids in reducing the number of eggs laid by females, as they fail to mate.
Suggested Application Rate: 2 Pherodis pheromones (Cydalima perspectalis) per 1 trap placed every 30-180m2, depending on infestation pressure.
Packaging: comes with 4 pheromones.
Preparation: For each trap, two Pherodis dispensers need to be used. Place the Pherodis pheromone dispensers in the canisters. Assemble the trap and fix the canisters to the trap. Place the trap on a stick, at a height of 1.5M. Replace the pheromone every 8wks. A "How To Use" video can be found in the link below.
