How It Works: Adult female parasitic wasps parasitize the mealybugs, particularly the second and third larval and adult stages of female citrus mealybugs (Planococcus citri) and vine mealybugs (Planococcus ficus).

Target Pests:

  • The second and third larval stages, and the adult stage of female Citrus Mealybugs and Vine Mealybugs

Best Use: when wanting to prevent or control the above Mealybugs.

Shelf Life: Within 1-2 days of receipt.

Important Information for Use:

  • Immediate Action: This product starts working as soon as it is introduced to the plants. However, visible results, such as aphids turning into mummies, will become noticeable after 14-21 days.

Step 1: Arrival 

Upon arrival, please ensure that you place the product out immediately or within 1-2 days of receipt. Do not store the product in the refrigerator; instead, place the bottles in a cool, dark location at around 14°C until use.

Step 2: Placement 

Use a pen or a sharp tool to make a hole in the sticker on the lid. Use the label to hang the tube in the crop following the instructions on the label itself. Hang the tube in a place out of direct sunlight. Leave tubes in the crop for at least two weeks. Carry out adequate ant control.

To keep this parasitic wasp in your crop, you will want to introduce additional bottles weekly or bi-weekly. 

What to Expect Upon Arrival:

  • Bottles will be packed in a protective eco box with ice packs and buffer packs to ensure safe transport.
  • You may notice little movement upon arrival. This is normal, as the pupae may not have hatched yet during transport.

  • All orders received before Wednesday (3:00 pm EST) will ship the following week.
  • If there is a holiday the ship day will be delayed one (1) business day.

  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes. Have your order sent to a physical address or direct to a UPS/Purolator Depot.
