Amblyseius andersoni – Predatory Mite

How It Works: Amblyseius andersoni hunts and feeds on pests by piercing them with its mouthparts and extracting their internal fluids.

Target Pests:

• Controls eggs and larvae of whiteflies
• Targets all life stages of non-webbing spider mites (e.g., European red mite Panonychus ulmi)
• Effective against rust mites
• Feeds on the larvae of Western Flower Thrips and Onion Thrips

Best Use:

• Ideal for soft fruit crops and other lower-temperature environments
• Most effective at the start and end of the growing season when other predatory mites are less active
• Cold-tolerant 

Shelf Life: within 1-2 days of receipt.

Important Information For Use:

• Do not open sachets upon arrival. They already have a pin-sized hole for predatory mites to exit naturally.
• Do not use Swirski, Thripex, Anso-mite, and Limonica on the same plants at the same time. These are generalist predatory mites, and if applied together, they may attack and eat each other instead of targeting pests. Always choose one type of generalist predatory mite per application
• Predatory mites are very small—typically 0.3 to 0.6 mm in size. This means they are difficult to spot with the naked eye.
